THE Victoria Inn in Barnt Green is on to a winner after its stunning refurbishment and even better menu.
A significant investment has given the popular eating and drinking spot a more modern, stylish and contemporary feel.
As soon as you walk into the Hewell Road pub, which was established more than 100 years ago, the transformation is apparent.
This is exactly what a pub in 2018 should feel and look like.
It manages to capture the traditional English feel but at the same time is comfortable in its new role as the trendsetter.
General Manager Rich Jauncey, who joined The Victoria 18 months ago, said: “Since I joined there has always been one thing that has stood out to me above the rest.
“And that’s the team’s desire to provide excellent service and the enjoyment they receive from this.”
As part of the refurbishment, The Victoria Inn has increased the size of its outside seating area, alongside an extensive makeover of the internal decoration from designers, Spatialized.
It has also grown its team with several new roles, welcoming a new Autumn-Winter menu under the guise of Head Chef Vitalijs Pavlovs who has been working at the Victoria for seven years.
Guests to the pub are able to enjoy the new seasonal menu featuring mouth-watering, freshly prepared dishes including sweet chilli king prawn rolls, lamb rack, lamb koftas, vegan mezze platter and pork belly.
And that’s not even going into the exciting new range of desserts which includes a delicious chocolate and peanut bomb which melts in the mouth.
The Victoria Inn has also introduced a special Instagram feature to the pub, a floral evergreen growing wall, specifically designed for those who love to share the perfect picture.
Rich added: “We are truly excited start the next chapter.”
The pub is currently closed but will officially re-open to guests this Saturday (October 13).
