FOLK FANS will be in for a fantastic time when Canadian singer-songwriter James Keelaghan and Hugh McMillan from Spirit of the West play Bromsgrove Folk Club on Thursday, September 12, writes Ben Workman.
Keelaghan has been described as ‘one of the country’s finest exports’ by some of the most respected and lauded music journalists over the past few decades.
He is responsible for music that has enthralled and has been revelled in by many audiences across the world.
Hugh, also a multi-instrumentalist, has produced music with many notable Canadian folk bands as well as many Canadian artists.
A spokesperson for the club said it was great to have the artists gracing their stage, adding: “This is a partnership to savour and we are delighted to have them back at Bromsgrove.”
