BOUNCING bundle of joy Jacob Edward James George was brought into the world at 10.34am on August 14.

Weighing in at 9lb 1oz at the Worcestershire Royal Hospital, he is the first son of Bromsgrove residents Rob and Pam George.

New dad Rob - the former deputy editor of the Bromsgrove and Droitwich Standards - said: “I’m a very proud daddy and am so pleased Jacob and Pam are both healthy and happy.

“Thank you to everyone for their kind messages and gifts - we feel very lucky and are very proud parents.”

Jacob is now settling down well at home.
