A CHARITY punk music gig to raise funds for the Blue Cross will be held at Bromsgrove’s Queens Head pub, The Strand, next Saturday (September 6).

The event, organised by Blue Tinsley, starts at 3pm with the first of six bands taking to the stage at 3.30pm.

Among those performing are UK Lowest, Thatchers Love Child, Xray Juction and a special guest.

As well as the music, there will be a Blue Cross representative lending a helping hand and a raffle.

All donations made will go straight to the animal charity.
