BROMSGROVE Photographic Society’s new season kicks off at Avoncroft Arts Centre at 8pm on Tuesday (August 26).
Among the activities taking place will be competitions, lectures, practical evenings, studio sessions and social occasions.
The club is also offering a free ten-week series of beginners’ workshops for new photographers who want to improve their skills.
The first Tuesday (August 26) is an open evening when anyone with an interest in photography can go along.
Visitors can then attend taster evenings before applying for membership.
Everyone is welcome to join the club which displays its works on a stall on Bromsgrove Market every Saturday.
This summer has seen evenings in meadows and bluebell woods, in a member’s back garden, at local restaurants and at Avoncroft Museum - that saw those who went along get to snap a Samurai warrior.
Visit www.bromsgroveps.co.uk for more on the society.
