YOUNG people from Colmers School in Rednal were given the opportunity to visit Drayton Manor theme park, thanks to the Rotary Club of Lickey Hills.
Paul Tranter and John Atkinson from the club accompanied staff members Aidie Drackley and Claire Earle and the students.
Robert Warren, the club’s vice-president, said: “The young people said they had an ‘amazing time’ and that the day out was ‘brilliant’.
“And the granddads from the club who went with the party couldn’t have agreed more.”
The comparatively small club annually raises over £5,000 for international and local needs whilst holding a variety of social events and activities for its members.
