POLICE have released these pictures of a man they want to speak to in connection with a street theft which took place in Bromsgrove town centre in the early hours of May 31.

A 21-year-old woman had her mobile phone taken in the incident, which happened on Worcester Road, near the Love2Love nightclub.

The mobile was a Samsung Galaxy S3 and was in a distinctive OtterBox protective case.

The victim was showing the man something on her phone when he took it from her and jogged away with it.

The man was 5ft 11ins tall and of heavy build. He had short dark hair, was clean shaven with a pointy chin, and was wearing a short-sleeved white top and dark trousers.

Anyone who recognises the man in the images should call DC Townsend on 101 or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
