Trio held in Hagley after nine barrels of diesel found

THREE men have been arrested in Hagley on suspicion of theft.

It happened this morning (Friday) when a Vauxhall Vectra tried to get away from the police as they were patroling the area.

When the car was stopped, nine barrels of diesel were discovered in the boot.

Three men, aged 20, 31 and 23 were arrested on suspicion of theft.
