OPEN auditions are being held for the Jigsaw Players Theatre Company’s pantomime, which this year will be Dick Whittington.
The try-outs will take place between 3pm and 7pm on Saturday (June 14) and Sunday (June 15) at The Trinity Centre, Lickey Parish Hall, Old Birmingham Road.
The group is seeking adults, youth performers and children aged six and above for acting, singing and dancing roles.
Those who go along should prepare a song of their choice to demonstrate their vocal range and be prepared to read from a script and do some basic dance steps.
Rehearsals will begin on September 7 at The Trinity Centre and take place every Sunday from 4pm to 6pm for youngsters and between 7pm and 9pm for youth performers and adults.
Principal characters will also be required either Monday or Tuesday evenings. Performance dates are from December 5 to 7 and between December 11 and 13.
Director Maggie Bishton told The Standard: “We want people to come and join the Jigsaw Players for a fun filled, all singing, all dancing Pantomime.”
