THERE will be a mix of golden oldies, songs from musicals and other favourites when the Primrose Choir takes to the stage for its Summertime Concert.
The event is at 7pm next Friday (June 20) at Redditch Town Hall and, because of this year’s centenary anniversary of the First World War, there will also be some wartime favourites for the audience to sing along to.
The choir will once again be joined by Studley St Marys RC School Choir which will be performing a variety of songs, including its own rendtition of the Mary Poppins classic Supercalifrag-ilisticexpialidocious.
All profits go to The Primrose Hospice Centre of Care charity which helps people in Bromsgrove and Redditch who are facing life-limiting illness.
Tickets, which are £8, are available by calling 01527 67383 or 01527 546158.
There will also be a limited number of tickets on the door.
The choir practises every Wednesday evening and is available for a range of events.
New members are always welcome - call the numbers above for more information.
