RESIDENTS have been invited to vote for Sainsburys Northfield's charity of the year.
The superstore has now begun its search for a new cause which it can support over the next 12 months through a variety of fund-raising and awareness events.
Shoppers have until Sunday (June 8) to cast their vote. The winner will be announced in July.
Store manager Helen Saunders said: "We're looking forward to supporting a local charity which touches many of our customer and colleagues' hearts.
"The scheme gives us the chance to make a real difference to important causes in the community and we hope our customers get behind this year's voting stage and nominate their favourite local charity."
Votes can be dropped off in store or made online. Visit www.sainsburys.co.uk/localcharity for more information.
