THE DRIVER of a stolen vehicle which crashed into a police car in Wychbold is being hunted.
A silver/grey Volkswagen, being driven by a man and carrying a blonde female passenger, was chased by officers along the M42 and M5 before becoming involved in the collision on the junction five slip road, which also caused damage to a blue Ford Focus, about 5.30pm.
Police first spotted the stolen car travelling north up the M5 before it joined the M42 in Worcestershire about 4.10pm last Thursday (May 22).
The driver then turned around and headed south until he exited the motorway. The car was later seen in the Chequers Lane and Stoke Road area of Wychbold before it was found severely damaged in Sharpway Gate, Stoke Prior, about 6.40pm.
Anyone with any information should call 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
