CBEEBIES’ favourites Chris and Pui from Show Me Show Me will be live at Bromsgrove’s Artrix this half-term.

Two performances of the show will be staged at the School Drive venue on Tuesday (May 27), with the first starting at 11am and the other at 2pm.

The production, which lasts 55 minutes with a 15 to 20-minute interval in between, centres around poor Old MacDonald who has lost his animals.

The audience will be tasked with helping Chris and Pui locate and meet Incy, Humpty, the Grand Old Duke of York, Old King Cole and Little Bo Peep.

Children are invited to take along their teddies and favourite character toys to see the show with them.

Tickets, which are £12 for adults, £10 for under 16s and £40 for a family ticket (two adults and two children or one adult and three children) are available at www.artrix.co.uk or by calling 01527 577330.

Visit www.chrisandpui.com for more on the show.

ARTRIX will also host screenings of children’s film Rio 2 in the half-term holidays.

The first one is tomorrow (Saturday) at 2.30pm. That is an accessible showing with space for wheelchairs and the freedom to move and vocalise.

It tells the story of Blu, Jewel and their three children who are hurtled from the magical city to the wilds of the Amazon.

As Blu tries to fit in, he goes beak-to-beak with the vengeful Nigel, and meets the most fearsome adversary of all - his father-in-law.

Other screenings of the film will be at 2.30pm on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday (May 26, 28 and 29).

Tickets, at www.artrix.co.uk and on 01527 577330, are £6 for adults, £5 for over 60s and £3 for accompanied children under 16.
