A MAN has suffered serious head injuries in an assault in Bromsgrove's Grapevine pub on Saturday night (May 3).
The incident involving the 34-year-old happened about 10.45pm and a 42-year-old man was arrested in connection with the attack.
He remains in custody.
Det Sgt Natalie Martin, from West Mercia Police, said although an arrest had been made, officers investigating the assault were keen to speak to anyone who witnessed it.
“They are also keen to speak to anyone who was drinking in the Grapevine pub earlier in the evening who may have seen anything that could be linked to the incident that occurred later."
