A PURPLE Day held in Bromsgrove has raised £310 for Epilepsy Action.
The event was organised by Sharon Crofts whose son Louis was diagnosed with epilepsy in 2008 when he was just 15 months old, after an episode of viral meningoencephalitis - a bleed on the brain - five months earlier.
About 40 people went along to the event for a chat, a cup of tea or coffee and cakes and biscuits. There was also colouring for the children.
The event itself saw £228 collected and the total was boosted by online fund-raising and cash donations.
Sharon said: “I want to thank everyone who came along and supported what was a fantastic event.”
People can still visit www.justgiving.com/Sharon-Crofts-purple to donate to the cause.
