Cracking time to be had at Artrix this Easter

ARTRIX has a cracking line-up for the Easter holidays with some eggcellent entertainment planned for Bromsgrove residents and their families.

Youngsters, aged between three and ten, have been invited to kick off their holiday on Monday (April 14) with a Spring Awakening Crafternoon which will run from 12.30pm until 2.3pm - entry costs £1 for each child.

Those who go along will be able to participate in seasonal make and take craft activities.

The Lego Movie will take place on Monday at 2.30pm and will continue to show everyday at the same time until Thursday (April 17). It will then be shown again on Saturday (April 19). An accessible screening for disabled viewers will be held on Tuesday (April 15).

An all-day workshop, The Wacky Wild West Dynamic Drama Day, for children aged five to ten, will run on Tuesday between 10am and 4pm.

It will involve singing, dancing and drama and will conclude with a short show for parents and friends at 4pm in the Studio - enrolment costs £30 per child and parents go free.

To celebrate the coming of ‘Aliens love Underpants’ to Artrix’s stage, a friendly alien will be paying a visit to youngsters at Bromsgrove Library between 10am and 11am on Thursday (April 17).

Children aged from three to eight-years-old will be able to take part in a variety of activities and storytelling as well as a competition to win a family ticket to see the show.

Aliens Love Underpants which is a fresh and funny production, featuring stunning effects, madcap action and original music, will be staged at Artrix on Monday (April 21) at 1.30pm and 3.30pm as well on Tuesday (April 22) at 11am and 2pm. Tickets will cost £12.50 each, £10 each for groups of more than ten people, while family tickets will be £46.

The last event to conclude Artrix’s jam-packed Easter holiday line-up will be the showing of Mr Peabody and Sherman which will take place at 2.30pm the following Wednesday (April 23), Thursday (April 24) and Saturday (April 26).
