Finalists battling to win Search for a Star in Longbridge

A VARIETY of artists will battle it out at the Austin Social Club in Longbridge tomorrow (Saturday) in the final of the 2014 Search For A Star competition.

Among them will be Esther Turner, Jasmine Rawlins, Ally Rae, Megan Lara Mae, James Hudson, Beth Humphreys, Winston’s Big Brother, Glamophones, Mitch Miller and Hugh Neake.

The winner will scoop £2,000, with the runner-up winning £500 and the third placed act getting £250.

The rest of the finalists will receive £100.

Organiser Tony Maslen said: “This is possibly our best line-up we’ve ever had - anyone of the acts could win the title. It promises to be an amazing night.”
