A BROMSGROVE mum had an extra special Mother's Day yesterday (Sunday) when she gave birth to her third child and second daughter at the Alexandra Hospital.
Danni Hill had Eva Kathryn Layton at 3.32pm, eight days before her due date, and she tipped the scales at 5lb 14oz.
Eva joins older sister Ellie and brother Dominic, who is five.
It came as a bit of a surprise for Danni and fiance Mark Layton as the birth was just four hours.
Danni said: "Both are super excited to have a baby sister and although the little ones missed Mother's Day with their mum, they are over the moon with Eva being born.
"Dad is ecstatic too and is overwhelmed by how quick she decided to make an appearance.
"I couldn't have wished for a better Mother's Day present - a beautiful and healthy baby daughter to complete our family.
"She felt like a miracle being born on such a special day and the staff at the hospital were astounding at making us all feel welcome and looking after us," she added.
