THE MUCH sought-after tickets to see Lee Evans at Bromsgrove's Artrix were all sold out in less than an hour.

Half of the 150 went on sale this morning at 9am for people to collect in person. They were sold in 32 minutes with the first to get there queuing since 5am.

The other 150, which were available online from 12midday, went in 20 minutes.

The Work in Progress show will see the funnyman try out new material on the audience on April 17 ahead of his Monsters arena tour later in the year.

An Artrix spokesperson said: "Lee is one of the most popular comedians in the UK so the demand for tickets was huge.

"We’re sorry that some people missed out this time around – we try to make the ticket allocation as fair as possible."
