Camera equipment worth £6,500 stolen in Bromsgrove burlary

MORE than £6,500 worth of camera equipment was stolen from a Marlbrook home between 12.45pm and 2.15pm on Thursday (March 20).

During the burglary of the house in Lickey Rock an £700 Apple MacBook Pro laptop, two Dell laptops - one worth £350 and the other £1,200 and two Nikon cameras - totalling £1,700 were taken.

A £400 Lumix camera, camera lenses worth £2,100, a £20 khaki green fabric camera bag and a Kobo e-reader valued at £100 were also stolen from the home.

It is not known how the burglar got in but it is believed the house was left unlocked.

Police are looking into whether the burglary is linked to the theft of a Lenovo laptop in a black laptop bag from a silver Mercedes which was parked near Lickey Square, Rednal, sometime between 10pm on Thursday evening (March 20) and 6am on Friday morning (March 21).
