TWO MEN have been arrested on suspicion of robbery in connection with the armed raid of the Barnt Green Tesco Express which took place about 9pm on March 10.
Police arrested one man on Saturday morning (March 22) and one yesterday evening (Monday).
The pair, who were both found in Birmingham, have been released on bail pending further enquiries.
Three men, who had covered their faces, entered the store on Hewell Road.
Two of them approached a shop assistant who was cashing up the self-service tills and threatened to shoot her unless she handed over the money, although no weapons were seen.
They pair then took a quantity of cash out of her hands before fleeing the store.
The third man took a member of staff upstairs to where someone else was working before he asked them to open the safe, which they were unable to do.
A red Skoda Fabia, believed to be used in the incident was later found in a car park in Druids Heath, Birmingham, on March 12.
Anyone with any information can call police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
