TRAFFIC near Junction 1 of the M42 (Bromsgrove) has now cleared after a serious incident earlier today (Monday) in which a car rolled over and ended up in the fast lane.

Miraculously, the driver, who was rescued from his vehicle, was uninjured in the incident, which took place on the southbound carriageway.

A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service said an ambulance and a paramedic officer arrived at the scene soon after the call at 2.30pm.

Two lanes were closed while the car was flipped back over and recovered and ambulance crews left the scene an hour later.
