A MAN accused of seven charges relating to sexual activity with a child and intimidating a witness in Bromsgrove appeared at Redditch Magistrates Court on Tuesday (March 4).
Toby Rogers, 19, of The Grove, Studley, plead not guilty to three counts of sexually assaulting a 12-year-old girl in Bromsgrove between July 1 and August 14, last year.
He also pleaded not guilty to one count of causing or inciting the same girl, in Bromsgrove, between April 1 and August 14, last year, to engage in a sexual conversation over Facebook.
And he denied two counts of engaging in sexual activity in Bromsgrove, between July 1 and August 14 2013, with a girl aged 13 when not reasonably believing she was over 16.
He also pleaded not guilty to a charge for causing or inciting the same 13-year-old girl when not reasonably believing she was aged over 16 to engage in sexual activity, namely a sexual conversation over Facebook, between June 1 and August 13, last year.
And he denied one count of intimidating a witness in Bromsgrove on September 23 2013, by namely threatening, when knowing or believing the victim was a potential witness in proceedings for an offence which would thereby cause the investigation to be obstructed, perverted or interfered with.
Rogers has been released on conditional bail until he appears at Worcester Crown Court on June 23.
The magistrates told Rogers he must sleep and reside at his address, The Grove, in Studley, with the exception of another address in Foxwalks Avenue, Rock Hill, Bromsgrove.
The bench also banned him from having contact with anyone under the age of 16 without the supervision of someone who had been authorised by Childrens’ Services to do so - with the exception of his own child.
Rogers was also told to not contact several people involved with the case and was banned from entering certain parts of Bromsgrove.
