BROMSGROVE'S Pizza Hut restaurant has closed its doors after months of speculation about the branch's future.
Residents had contacted The Standard at the end of last year and earlier in 2014 to ask what was happening after hearing it was shutting, but it was confirmed at the start of this week.
A Pizza Hut spokesperson told The Standard: "We continually evaluate the location of our restaurants to ensure they are in the best possible areas to meet consumer demand, and have now closed our Bromsgrove High Street restaurant.
"We have a popular restaurant in Kidderminster, so will still have a strong presence in the area and we are confident our customers will continue to visit us."
She added all of the staff would be relocated to other restaurants in the local area, where possible.
