A FORD KA was completely destroyed by fire after an arson attack in Wythall on Wednesday (February 19).

Firefighters from Redditch used breathing apparatus and a hose to put out the blaze, which broke out at 10.10pm in Crabmill Lane.

The incident is believed, by both West Mercia Police and Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service, to have been arson.

A police spokesperson said: "There wasn't much left of the vehicle and, as the registration plates had been destroyed, we have no idea who it belongs to."

Any witnesses or anyone with any information about the vehicle or the arson should call PC Mark Bullingham on 101, quoting the reference 735S190214 or Crimestoppers 0800 555 111.
