A DRIVER was subjected to a vicious assault in Charford when three men stood in the road in front of his 4x4 and would not let him pass.
It happened about 6.15pm on Friday (February 7) as the man drove to the junction of Edwin Crescent and Salwarpe Road.
After stopping his vehicle, he asked the trio to move so he could continue on his journey. But they punched him several times, pulled him to the floor and stamped on his head, causing him to lose a tooth and suffer cuts and bruises to the inside of his mouth.
Two of the attackers were in their late teens to early 20s and the man, who was in his 40s, needed treatment at A&E at the Worcestershire Royal.
Witnesses or anyone with any information should call Det Con Stacey Keogh on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
