RESIDENTS are being urged to have their say on the proposed move of Catshill Post Office on Meadow Road.
Customers and interested parties can leave their comments during a six-week public consultation, which runs until March 14.
It asks participants about the proposed new location for the branch in the One Stop Store on Woodrow Lane.
If the move is given the go ahead, the post office will be able to extend its opening times from 6am to 11pm Monday to Saturday and between 7am andt 11pm on Sundays - 72 hours more than what is currently offered.
A spokesperson for the Post Office said the new location would help create a more modern, open-plan and local-style branch.
The proposal is apart of a new concept and major modernisation programme which been designed to make it easier for customers to do their business.
Adrian Wales, the post office regional network manager for central England, said: “We understand how important post office services are to residents in Catshill.
“We are confident this new modern branch will meet the needs of the local community and secure services for the future.”
