TWO MEN are being sought by police after burglaries in Bromsgrove earlier this week.
The first happened in Littleheath Lane, Lickey End, between 12midday and 4.45pm on Sunday (January 26). The raiders used a lean-to on the side of the house to get up to the kitchen window, which they then smashed to get in. They then took jewellery and watches, but it is not yet known how much the items were worth.
The next one happened in Marlbrook Lane, Marlbrook, between 6.50pm and 8.20pm on Tuesday (January 28) when the thieves got in through a back kitchen window and took £30 in cash.
A man, who was white, 5ft 11ins tall, in his early 20s and with light thinning hair, was challenged by a neighbour at 7.45pm that evening as he was cutting through a garden towards Old Birmingham Road. He was wearing a light grey jacket and was carrying a blue Adidas rucksack as he fled.
The next burglary took place in Monument Lane, Lickey, about 10.20am on Wednesday (January 29) after a raider smashed a back patio door. He was white and was wearing a red beanie hat, black jacket, blue or grey jogging bottoms and white trainers. He was carrying a light rucksack, but it is not yet known what was taken.
Officers from West Mercia Police have been carrying out house-to-house enquiries and want to hear from anyone who heard or saw anything suspicious.
Witnesses or anyone with any information should call Det Con Tony Flannagan about the Marlbrook incident, Det Con Adam Pugh on the Lickey burglary or Det Con Cheryl Jones for the Lickey End raid.
They can be reached on 101. Alternatively, call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or contact the charity via its website www.crimestoppers-uk.org
