TWO LUCKY Bromsgrove ladies got to meet comedian and TV presenter Paddy McGuinness at the annual Slimming World Awards.
It was definitely not a case of ‘no likey, no lighty’ when consultants Gaynor Hale and Dawn Kendle had a giggle, chat and cuddle with Paddy at the event, held at Birmingham’s International Convention Centre.
The ITV1 Take Me Out presenter co-hosted the ceremony with Margaret Miles-Bramwell OBE, Slimming World’s chair and founder.
Gaynor, who runs a slimming group in Bromsgrove and Droitwich every Tuesday, said: “I’m so proud of all of my members.
“I can’t wait to see what 2014 holds for us.”
Paddy said: “I was genuinely amazed to hear about what a difference consultants like Gaynor and Dawn make to people’s lives.
“At the ceremony I met lots of people who’d lost incredible amounts of weight and it had totally changed their lives.”
