A BMW which was stolen from Blackwell last Friday (January 3) was recovered after a pursuit.
The car was taken from outside a house in Linthurst Newtown at around 5pm and, minutes after it was reported stolen, it was spotted at Heath End in Belbroughton.
Officers pursued the vehicle to the A456 Quinton Expressway where the vehicle was stopped and, shortly afterwards, a 26-year-old Birmingham man on suspicion of stealing the car.
After being questioned, he was released on police bail until February 23, pending further inquiries.
West Mercia Police have appealed for anyone who witnessed the incident or anyone with any information to call the Operational Policing Unit at Rubery Police Station on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
