A MAN who had to be cut from a car which rolled over on the Stourbridge Road in Bromsgrove this morning (Thursday) was lucky to escape serious injury.
A crew from Bromsgrove Fire Station attended the incident, which happened at around 6.30am and freed the man using hydraulic and other specialist equipment.
He was immobilised using a neck collar and spinal board and was then taken to Redditch's Alexandra Hospital having sustained multiple minor injuries.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesperson said an ambulance, paramedic officer, BASICS doctor and an air ambulance crew attended.
"The emergency services worked well together to get the man out and off to hospital," he added.
