POLICE have issued this picture of one of two robbers who stole cash and jewellery in a raid on a town centre shop last month.
The pair, both wearing hoods, burst into the Kash Kwik store in The Strand at around 4.45pm on November 7.
And, after assaulting a woman who worked there and bundling her into a back room, they fled with their haul which they put in a rucksack and black plastic bag.
The woman, who was not badly hurt, raised the alarm shortly after they left.
Det Con Ruth Hemingway of North Worcestershire CID said: “This was a nasty incident and we need people to come forward and help us."
The e-fit shows one of the robbers who was white, in his early 20s and about 5ft 8ins tall. He was slim, had a thin face and short, light hair. He was wearing a blue hooded top and lighter jogging bottoms.
"We believe it’s a good likeness and hope someone will recognise him and tell us who he is," added DC Hemmingway.
The other robber was also white and of a similar age and height. He was wearing a distinctive jacket with noticeably lighter coloured sleeves, dark bottoms and a dark woolly hat.
Det Con Hemingway added: “The robbers were hanging around for a while in an alleyway at the side of Kash Kwik before they went in so we’d like to hear from anyone who may remember them loitering there.
“Any information we can get from members of the public could be significant so if you saw, heard or know anything at all please get in touch.”
