YOUNGSTERS from a Bromsgrove nursery are waiting with anticipation to see if they have helped break the world record for the number of people dressed in yellow and black or wearing bee costumes.

More than 30 children at Busy Bees, Stoke Road, along with youngsters from 213 other Busy Bees nurseries across the country were hives of activity as they attempted to break the current record - that stands at 2,174.

Other fun activities which took place on the day included biscuit making, a bee hunt, face mask making and much more.

Manager Nicola Price said: “It was an absolutely brilliant day - we’ve just got to find out now whether we have broken the record or not.”
