DRIVERS using the Birmingham Road in Bromsgrove next week are being warned about roadworks taking place there.

From Monday (December 2), for a week, contractors from Severn Trent Water will be carrying out the works as part of the building of the Malthurst’s petrol station. During this time, there will be three-way traffic controls in operation.

A Malthurst spokeeperson said work was on the new petrol station was progressing well and was on target to finish in February.

“Once completed, our existing petrol station will relocate to the new premises.

“I would like to thank our neighbours for their patience to date, and would ask drivers in the town to bear with us during this short period of traffic disruption.”

For more information on the roadworks and the petrol station, call Joyce Yip on freephone 0800 035 2753.
