CHILDREN from Dodford First School melted hearts at their harvest festival celebration.
Pupils put on a performance at the Holy Trinity and St Mary’s Church on Thursday (October 24) filled with songs and smiles for families, friends and teachers.
Parents and children also donated cans, jars and Christmas boxes to the Dodford Children’s Holiday Farm which offers holidays and short breaks to less fortunate children, particularly those living in deprived areas.
Charity volunteer Kelly Broadfield said: “We are so grateful when our local schools go out of their way to help us like this.
“It’s a invaluable resource that help keep our costs down and allows us to provide good meals to the children we’re helping.”
