FOOD-LOVERS and those with large appetites can land themselves a free big breakfast sandwich at a Bromsgrove cafe - but only if they can eat every last morcel in just half-an-hour.
The Big Dave's Challenge at Big Dave's Cafe, Worcester Road, uses a whole loaf of bread to house its contents - five rashers of bacon, five sausages, four eggs, four pieces of black pudding or haggis or hash browns, along with double beans, double tomatoes and double mushrooms.
And the sandwich, which costs £15 if not finished in 30 minutes, has gone down a storm on Facebook, notching up 6,200 views in just two days.
Cafe owner Dave Blackburn said he came up with idea after watching the TV programme Man vs Food.
"I asked a range of customers about challenges and they were really excited about it.
"My son Alex, who is 14, was the fist to try it.
"He plays rugby for Bromsgrove and thought he could do it, but he only managed half in 40 minutes."
