A DOG has been killed by a greyhound at the Lickey Hills Country Park.
The incident happened at 12pm on Wednesday, October 23, on the footpath which leads from Barnt Green Road to the Lickey Hills Visitor Centre in Warren Lane.
Two women were walking two dobermans, two boxers and the greyhound - which had been on a muzzle which had come off - when the whippet cross lurcher, which was being walked by a third woman, was attacked.
The two women initially tried to help but did not leave their details. The local policing team is currently following up lines of inquiry.
Anyone with any information should call PC Tim Burling on 101.
