YOUNGSTERS from Charford First School took a break from their studies this week to remind residents to put their clocks back an hour at 2am on Sunday morning (October 27) to mark the end of British Summer Time.
The children from year two have been turning back the clocks themselves by learning about the Great Fire of London.
They have been finding out about the blaze which started in Thomas Farriner’s bakery in 1666.
Year two group leader Sharron Pemberton said: “We have combined the topic with looking at what London is like today.
“The children have been wowed by the topic.”
