RUBERY beauty salon Tantastic raised £267.82 when they held a Macmillan coffee morning last Friday (October 4).
The cash was collected from selling coffee, cakes and raffle tickets as staff and local residents got together for a cuppa.
For the occasion, local businesses donated glossy raffle prizes while residents and regulars baked some good-looking cakes.
The salon’s joint owner Emma Rowan said over 60 people came through their door but she was still shocked that they had managed to raise so much in one day.
So far the Macmillan charity has collected £8,167,000 with more to be expected in the coming weeks.
