A GROUP of local crafters have made use of an empty premises in Rubery village centre by turning it into a gift shop.
The Perfect Gift is open at 121 New Road between 10am and 4pm Tuesday to Saturday, up until Christmas Eve.
Seven local small businesses will be showcasing their products at the 'pop up shop', which will be full of handmade decorative gifts for the home and family, including handmade soaps, homemade preserves, jewellery and accessories, along with handmade decorative metalwork suitable for all ages and all budgets.
The crafters said, taking into account the concerns surrounding high streets, they were pleased to be able to add something unique for local shoppers in the run up to Christmas.
