A NISSAN Qashqai 1.5 Ntek diesel car was stolen from outside a property in Bishop Hall Crescent, Charford, during a car-key burglary.
It happened between 8.10pm on Sunday (September 29) and 7pm on Monday (September 30).
The ring, which also had the owner's house keys on it, were left in a box by the front door.
As he got ready for work, he looked out of the window and noticed his vehicle was not there.
After double checking, he called the police and then found the keys had gone from the box.
He then discovered the back door and the back garden gate both open.
The thieves also made off with £40 in cash which was on the fireplace.
The car was found in Cobham Close, later on Monday.
