A SUSPECTED Bromsgrove loan-shark has been arrested by the illegal money lending team this morning (Wednesday).
The 48-year-old from Lickey End is being quizzed after cash, documentation and passports were found at the property to suggest illegal money lending was going on there.
Coun Lucy Hodgson, the authority's cabinet member with responsibility for localism and communities, said: "Through our trading standards team, we are continuing to support the work of the illegal money-lending team do to stop loan sharks operating in Worcestershire, particularly in the current economic climate.
"It's important to remind residents that they can get financial dupport through a of organisations, such as the Citizen's Advice Bureau."
