A POPULAR home care assistant has bid her colleagues a fond farewell after more than 20 years of caring for others.
Sue Tyler started work for the Bromsgrove-based Worcestershire Care Group on April 1, 1991, but, before that, she worked at The Hall Nursing Home, which was also part of the group.
Staff there said Sue gained an NVQ and always took part in all of the training offered so she could work to the highest standards.
Director Stephen Ewin said she would be missed by everyone, but especially the clients who she always went the extra mile for.
“Sue epitomised the excellent qualities we are always looking for in our staff. They always put the client first, treating them with respect and kindness,” he added.
Sue found it hard to leave, but is looking forward to her retirement.
