ALMOST £8,000 worth of electrical equipment and jewellery was stolen during two burglaries in Barnt Green.
The first took place between last Friday (September 20) and yesterday (Wednesday) in Hewell Road.
Around £200 worth of damage was caused to the front door as it was forced and a haul totalling £1,200 was taken.
That included two Samsung TVs, one a 40ins LCD mode worth £400, a 28ins model worth £300 and a black Dell laptop worth £500.
Then, between 9.45am and 12.45pm on Tuesday (September 24), a home in Greenbank was targeted.
After forcing the door of that property, causing £50 worth of damage, two Samsung TVs, one a 46ins flatscreen model worth £600 and the other, a £200 40ins flatscreen model, were taken.
An Apple iPad 3 worth £600, a £100 Toshiba DVD player, a Samsung laptop worth £300, a £3,000 Tag Heuer silver watch, a set of Mizuno golf clubs and bag worth £450 were also among the haul, along with a Powakaddy electric golf trolley and battery worth £380 and a specially-made, one of a kind, white gold diamond ring worth £1,000.
Officers investigating the incidents have urged any witnesses or anyone with any information to call Det Con Tony Flannagan on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
They particularly want to hear from anyone in the area who has CCTV.
