IT MAY only be September, but one Bromsgrove pub has already launched its Christmas menu.
The Slug and Lettuce, with its cracker-laden tables, welcomed guests who tucked into turkey, stuffing and cranberry sauce sandwiches, pigs in blankets, mince pies and other festive delights.
Deputy manager Emma Woodhouse said: "The kids are over the summer holidays and a lot of people we have spoken to have said they are already starting to think about Christmas.
"We've got a new chef who has tweaked our festive menu.
"It seems to get better and better every year."
Events planner Stephen Corbett added: "The reaction has been brilliant, everyone has been donning the hats from their crackers and really getting into the festive spirit.
"I have to keep reminding myself it's not December."
