BROMSGROVE District Council has served the latest group of travellers to set up camp in the town centre with a repossession order for the land they are residing on.
The document, which was obtained from the court yesterday (Wednesday) and was handed to the group yesterday afternoon, meant they had to leave the site immediately.
The travellers, who were on the Stourbridge Road car park, moved on shortly afterwards
The group had been there for more than a week and are the third group to camp in Bromsgrove in just seven weeks.
The council has come under fire for not dealing with the travellers more promptly with one resident posting on our Facebook page: "What's Bromsgrove Council doing about the travellers on the car park in the centre of town? Birmingham City Cuncil moved some off Cofton Park in 24 hours."
