FAMILIES are set to benefit from a donation given to the Redditch and Bromsgrove branch of a national organisation.
Home-Start North East Worcestershire received a cheque from The West Brom after residents voted for charities and community groups they wanted to receive a share of £37,000 worth of grants.
Manager Karen Jones said: “We would like to offer a big thank you to all the customers who donated and voted for Home-Start.
“This donation will help a lot of families who are struggling to cope.”
Steve Perry, branch manager of The West Brom in Bromsgrove, added: “We really believe in supporting the community and the good causes that do so much to improve the lives of local people.
“It has been a privilege to spend time with the various charities our customers have chosen to support and I know the grants we are offering will be put to tremendous use especially at Home-Start North East Worcestershire.”
