A NORTHFIELD teenager has been charged with fatally stabbing a man in Selly Oak on Friday night (September 20).
A post-mortem revealed 18-year-old Joshua Ribera suffered a wound to his heart in the incident, which happened at 11pm outside TC's Club.
The suspect, who is also 18, is due to appear before Birmingham Magistrates Court today (Tuesday).
Another 18-year-old arrested over the death has been released on bail, pending further inquiries.
Det Insp Gary Plant, who is leading the investigation, urged anyone who witnessed the incident or who had any information and had not yet spoken to the police to call officers on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 to help them piece together exactly what happened.
