A THIRD man has appeared at court in connection with a robbery at Hopwood Services where a man was kidnapped.
Adam Lee Alie, aged 34 and of Cotman Close in Birmingham, stood before Worcester Magistrates on Saturday (September 14) where he was charged with robbing £465,000 from the driver of a cash in transit lorry and kidnapping him from the M42 services on August 15.
He was remanded in custody until November 25, where he will appear at Worcester Crown Court.
Two other Birmingham men had previously appeared in court on August 19 charged with the same offences.
Leon Bell, aged 37 and of Greenvale Avenue, Sheldon, and John Gerard Wall, aged 49 and of Bromford Lane, Washwood Heath, were also remanded in custody to appear before Worcester Crown Court on Monday, November 25.
