THESE dramatic scenes took place at around 11.15am yesterday (Tuesday) on the A491 Bromsgrove to Stourbridge Road when a van was engulfed in flames.
Firefighters from Bewdley were called to the incident, which happened near Clent, and battled the blaze with two hoses and breathing apparatus.
A Hereford and Worcester Fire Service spokesperson said the damage was devastating, describing the van as being '100 per cent destroyed'.
The police also attended and a spokesperson confirmed, despite the severity of the fire, no one was injured in the blaze.
Claire Thompson, who sent us these pictures, said: "I was travelling back from Merry Hill when I noticed the van on fire on the opposite side of the carriageway.
"There was lots of grey smoke billowing out, I rang the fire brigade and they said it had already been called in."
